WELCOME TO THE 2013 CLASS 8 - KITE BUGGY EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS OFFICIAL WEBSITE
The 2013 European Championships of kite buggy Class 8 under FISLY-rules will take place in Germany on the beautiful island of Borkum. The German Parakart Association Kitesailing e.V. (GPA) will be hosting the event from the 10th to 14th of September 2013.
Borkum is Germany's westernmost east frisian island and it’s stunning beach is offering an outstanding kite buggy spot belonging to the best of Germany. Large hard packed sand areas come along with smooth soft sanddunes as well as speed stripes at the waterfront! You can expect challenging and fascinating race courses demanding tactical skills of the pilots above pure power, giving us the chance to really discover who are the best kite buggy pilots among Europe this year.
The amount of starters of class 8 is limited to 100. Countries with national series can announce up to 10 of their best male pilots as well as up to 10 of their best ladies.
Other countries can announce 5 pilots each. For safety reasons it is important that they have experience in racing so they feel safe on the course.
We kindly ask all participating Nations to announce one spokesman (Team Captain) for each country for better communication. We will provide information to these spokesmen. They will be in charge of sharing the information and coordinating their participating national pilots.
Official personal enrolment of eligible pilots will be opened end of May. Enrolment then has to be done until 08th of July 2013.
We are excited for your participation and are looking forward for another great Championship with you!
